LAUNDRY DRYER, AND WASHING/DRYING MACHINE EQUIPPED WITH THE LAUNDRY DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect clogging of a filter at a low cost in all the blowing modes regardless of the operation of a heating device such as a heater. SOLUTION: The washing/drying machine includes a washing/dewatering tub 3 to be operated as a drying chamber; an air pathway for circulating air inside the washing/dewatering tub 3; a blower fan 23 disposed in the air pathway for blowing air into the washing/dewatering tub 3; a rotation frequency detecting device 63 for detecting the rotation frequency of the blower fan 23; the filter 22 disposed on the way of the air pathway for capturing foreign objects; a control board 60 for controlling the operation of the devices 23 and 63; and a clogging detecting means for detecting the clogging of the filter 22 based on the change of the driving force for a prescribed rotation frequency of the blower fan 23 or based on the change of the rotation frequency for a prescribed driving force of the blower fan 23.
