Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera which attains improvement in operability and space saving. SOLUTION: An operating means 2 is operable vertically and horizontally and when the operating means is operated vertically in setting a reproducing mode, a function is selected from a listing indication. On the listing indication, each time the operating means is operated vertically, a function to be selected is moved vertically. When the operating means is operated to right, a selected function is "determined" and the indication is switched into an indication corresponding to the function. When the operating means is operated to left, the "determination" is canceled and the indication is returned to the listing indication.
