COMPRESSION CONDUCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression conductor in which birdcage is hard to be formed and which is easily flexible. SOLUTION: This is the compression conductor 1 which is composed by compressing a plurality of element wires 2, and made into the compression conductor 1 having at least two compression conductor layers outside a center conductor 3. In this compression conductor 1, both of a first compression conductor layer 4 that becomes the outermost layer and a second compression conductor layer 5 immediately under the first compression layer 4 are twisted in S twisting having the same twisting direction, and moreover, a target value of outer diameter reducing rate is set at 2% when the first compression conductor layer 4 is formed, and this is produced.
