STIRLING ENGINE AND DEVICE LOADED WITH STIRLING ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine capable of being inexpensively manufactured and stably operated. SOLUTION: This Stirling refrigerating machine 4 comprises a casing 24 in which a working medium is sealed, a piston 14 disposed between a back pressure space 23 and a working space 17 in the casing 24, and changing a pressure of the working medium in the working space 17, and a displacer 15 disposed between a compressing space 17A and an expanding space 17B in the casing 24 and operated by pressure fluctuation by the piston 14. The displacer 15 includes a cylindrical member 15A having openings of different areas at its axial both end portions, pressure receiving films 15B , 15C mounted on the cylindrical member 15A in a state of closing openings positioned at the axial both end portions of the cylindrical member 15A, and reciprocating in the axial direction of the cylindrical member 15A while deformed into the convex shape, and a connecting rod 15D connecting the pressure receiving films 15B, 15C to fit the deformed states of the pressure receiving films 15B, 15C.
