SETTING OF IMPROVED CHARACTERISTIC CURVE IN PRINTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining an ink preset characteristic curve optimum for controlling ink devices of a printing machine, the method capable of obtaining the time appropriate for setting the improved ink preset characteristic curve according to a significant basis, and a printing machine. SOLUTION: The method obtains the ink preset characteristic curve optimum for controlling the ink devices (16, 17) of the printing machine (1) by a computer (5) when detecting measured values of a printing medium (9) output by the printing machine (1) in an ongoing printing job by color measurement devices (20, 21). The computer (5) produces a signal for adjusting and storing the ink preset characteristic curve used for the ongoing printing job when dispersion of the measured values is detected by comparing the detected measured values with a color targeted value (S) and the dispersion is within a permissible value around the color targeted value (S).
