ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of changing from an open state to a storage state in a transportable ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus wherein a body and an operation panel are both pivotable. SOLUTION: A slide rod 104 engages a handle 28 and slides together with it. The slide rod is allowed to only slide relative to the body 12. A guide plate 108 is fixed to a connecting frame 16. When the handle 28 is raised, the body is raised. When the follower projection 106 of the slide rod is received by the guide channel 110 of the guide plate, the slide rod is also elevated as the handle is raised. The follower projection is guided to a tapered guide channel, the body is pivoted to an upright state, and pivoting of the body is locked at the point of time of advancing to the backmost part.
