Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably hold an insulator to a core, and to prevent the insulator from coming off from the core before winding. SOLUTION: This electric motor is characterized in that, the insulator 42a (42b) attached to the core has a plurality of tooth insulating parts 424 which are arranged in a slot of the core and electrically insulate teeth and the windings, the tooth insulating part 424 has a plurality of base ends 424b which abut on a ring-shaped part in the slot of the core, and a rib 424c extending to the axial direction of the insulator 42a (42b) is protrusively formed on the abutting face of at least one base end 424b.
