Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a R-Fe-B-based permanent magnet which is superior in corrosion resistance, has less drop in the adhesive strength, after an acceleration test such as humidity test takes place and can form a chemical coat with high corrosion resistance performance. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the R-Fe-B-based permanent magnet, having a chemical coat, includes a step of pretreating a surface of the R-Fe-B-based permanent magnet using a mixture solution of nitrate and sulfuric acid and a subsequent step of chemical formation. The magnet having the chemical coat manufactured by the method is superior in corrosion resistance of the chemical coating, is high in adhesion and has little drop in adhesive strength, even after the humidity testing.
