Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing defective merchandise from being sold. SOLUTION: A store controller 1 of a store information system 100 acquires specific merchandise information 81 showing defective merchandise, from a predetermined information providing sever 6 through the Internet 60. The specific merchandise information 81 of the store controller 1 is further provided to an inspecting device 2, a label issuing device 3 and a POS system 40. Each of these devices 2-4 acquires merchandise identification information of merchandise to be sold and collates it with the specific merchandise information 81. Whether the merchandise to be sold is defective or not is thereby determined, and when defective, a warning is output. The defective merchandise can thereby be easily prevented from being sold.
