Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely sort the slag by which cement of high activity index can be obtained from the granulated blast furnace slag obtained in a blast furnace. SOLUTION: Based on the finding that the activity index is higher as the content of MnO in the granulated blast furnace slag is lower, in sorting the slag for cement of the high activity index from the granulated blast furnace slag obtained in the blast furnace, the slag for cement is sorted by using the quality index that the activity index is higher as the content of the MnO in the slag is lower and preferably in addition to that, the activity index is higher as the basicity [(CaO+Al2O3+MgO)/SiO2] of the slag is higher as sorting criteria.
