PACKAGING APPARATUS FOR AIR CONDITIONER OUTDOOR UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus for an air conditioner outdoor unit which achieves thorough resource saving, prevents damage and scratches to an air conditioner outdoor unit body in storage, transportation, transfer, etc., of the air conditioner outdoor unit body, and allows recovery of packaging members and repeated use of the packaging apparatus to contribute to environment protection without generating waste materials. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus for the air conditioner outdoor unit includes an upper fixing member applied to the upper part of the air conditioner outdoor unit body, and a lower fixing member bearing the air conditioner outdoor unit body placed thereon. The upper and lower fixing members are so formed as to have a uniform wall thickness. Top face corner engaging portions are formed at four corners of the upper fixing member to engage with the top face corners of the air conditioner outdoor unit body, and body bearing portions are formed at four corners of the lower fixing member to engage with the bottom corners of the air conditioner outdoor unit body. The air conditioner outdoor unit body is sandwiched from above and below by the upper fixing member and the lower fixing member, and is bound with a band. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
