HINGE MECHANISM FOR TUMBLE SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge mechanism with sufficient mounting workability of a tumble seat. SOLUTION: A first hinge member 40 fixed to a floor 6 of a vehicle, a second hinge member 42 having one end 42A fixed to a seat cushion 3 and the other end 42B supported on the first hinge member by a hinge shaft 43 rotatably in an erective direction and a falling direction of the seat cushion, and an urging means 44 for urging the second hinge member in the erective direction are provided, an attachment part 50 attached with a stopper member 45 for retaining the second hinge member in the falling direction of the seat cushion in resistant to urging force by the urging means is provided on any one of the first or second hinge member, and an engagement part 51 engaged with the stopper member is provided on the other member of the first or second hinge member. The stopper member is attached to the attachment part 50 when the seat cushion is mounted to the floor 6, and is removed from the attachment part 50 after mounting of the seat cushion.
