MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR LIQUID JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a liquid jet head in which a channel formation substrate and a protecting substrate can be easily and surely joined to each other. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the liquid jet head I which is equipped with the channel formation substrate 10 where both pressurizing chambers 12 communicating with nozzle openings 21 that eject a liquid and pressure generation means generating a pressure change to the pressurizing chambers 12 are prepared, and the protecting substrate 30 joined to one surface side of the channel formation substrate 10 includes the process of forming a hydroxyl group to joining surfaces by applying a water solution that contains a silane coupling agent to the joining surfaces of the channel formation substrate 10 and the protecting substrate 30, and the process of joining the channel formation substrate 10 and the protecting substrate 30 by heating both while keeping contact with each other.
