TOOL CHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool changer adequately assuring a maintenance space around a tool magazine, and enhancing the degree of flexibility for installation of the tool magazine in a machine tool. SOLUTION: The tool exchanger 11a provided in a machine tool system 10 is provided with a rotary magazine 100a storing a plurality of tools T. The rotary magazine 100a is provided with: a disc section 112 rotated and driven with its circle center as a rotational central axis O; and retaining arms 116 arranged at plurality of places on the periphery of the disc section 112 and retaining each tool T. In front view in a direction along the rotational central axis O, a second straight line SL2 connecting the pivot 118 of the retaining arms 116 and the tool central axis Ot of the tools T, is inclined by a prescribed angle θ relative to a first straight line SL1 connecting the rotational central axis O of the disc section 112 and the pivot 118 of the retaining arms 116.
