Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved cornea imaging apparatus which enables a stable XY-alignment correction with a high degree of accuracy in imaging an endothelium in the periphery of a cornea and consequently enables quick imaging by further reducing a burden on an examiner and a subject in an actual using site. SOLUTION: The cornea imaging apparatus is equipped with a corneal endothelium imaging control means 117 which positions an apparatus optical system 10 in the Z-direction to be closer to the corneal endothelium beyond a focal point position relative to the corneal endothelium of a subject eye E and controls the relative position of a cornea imaging optical system 20 with respect to the subject eye E from information on an XY-alignment reference position determined by acquiring and using corneal endothelium optical information for XY-alignment and the information on the focal point position in the Z-direction to photograph the corneal endothelium of the subject eye E.
