ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ITS STATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that can solve the problems of the increase of the weight of the rotary electric machine and the increase of noise during operation arising from the enlarged capacity of the rotary electric machine and that is hardly subjected to restriction on transportation up to a place where the rotary electric machine is installed. SOLUTION: Central part cooling air guides 3, end part cooling air guides 4, and air ducts 5a which connect those guides are provided on the outside circumference of an armature core 1 on which an armature winding 2 is wound. The armature core 1 is mounted on a fixed base 6 via elastic support members 7. Acoustic panels 9, which are attachable and detachable, are mounted around and the bottom surface of the fixed base 6. Furthermore, an armature cover 8, on the inside surface of which an acoustic material is stuck, is mounted on the fixed base 6 so as to cover the armature core 1, the central part cooling air guides 3, the end part cooling air guides 4, and the air ducts 5a which connect those guides.
