Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a source code converting device and a source code converting method capable of converting an original source code into a source code of a proper pattern among the largest variety of conversion patterns. SOLUTION: The source code converting device has analyzing parts 2 and 3 for analyzing the structure of a source code to create a structure tree, a storing part 4 for storing a pattern table showing a plurality of conversion patterns of source codes, and a policy 40 for converting the source codes, and is provided with a consistency analyzing part 5 for creating a combination of conversion expressions by collating the pattern table with the policy 40, and a creating part 6 for creating a source code on the basis of the combination of conversion expressions.
