METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHENTICATION PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a single sign-on by coordinating a plurality of authentication servers that belong to different domains. SOLUTION: An authentication process method, which is executed in a system where a plurality of sets of a service system, an authentication server for the service system, and a cookie setting service exist, includes a process for setting a first cookie in a particular user terminal by means of a first cookie setting service upon a request from the particular user terminal, the first cookie indicating the use of a first authentication server of the same set as the first cookie setting service, the notification range of the first cookie being at least the first cookie setting service; and a process for setting a second cookie in the particular user terminal by means of a second cookie setting service if a cookie setting request is received from the first cookie setting service via the particular user terminal, the second cookie indicating the use of the first authentication server of the same set as the first cookie setting service, and the notification range of the second cookie being at least the second cookie setting service.
