ELECTRONIC ARTIFICIAL LARYNX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve naturalness of a speech generated by an electric artificial larynx using a diaphragm and a voice coil motor, and to impart individuality. SOLUTION: The electronic artificial larynx comprises the diaphragm, a driver which is supplied with pulse signals and applies vibrations in cycles that the pulse signal indicates to the diaphragm to generate a sound, a source sound generation instruction unit which instructs the generation of the sound, and a signal supply unit which supplies a series of pulse signals, obtained by imparting fine variation in cycle to the waveform of the pulse signals, on which the generation of the sound is based, to the driver while the source sound instruction unit instructs the generation of the sound.
