UNDERFLOOR INSPECTION HOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underfloor inspection hole which facilitates the entrance and exist of a person performing inspecting operations, even if the underfloor inspection hole is provided with a heat insulating block. SOLUTION: A part of a floor 2 is opened; an opening 3 is set to be freely opened/closed by means of a cover 4; and the one heat insulating block 18 is provided to be positioned on the downside of the cover 4 for closing the opening 3 below the opening 3. Thus, the underfloor inspection hole is constituted to prevent the intrusion of underfloor cold air into a room. The heat insulating block 18 in a quadrangular planar shape is mounted below the opening 3, and fitted into a retainer frame 19 which is made of a heat insulating material in such a manner as to have a depth equivalent to the height of the one heat insulating block 18, so that a corner portion of the heat insulating block 18 can be received in a retainer portion 24 of an inner surface of a lower end of a corner portion of the retainer frame 19.
