Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door which can prevent an engine case from falling. SOLUTION: The automatic door comprises: a door body 1 which is surrounded by a pair of mullions A erected at a predetermined interval, and a transom B pinched by the mullions A, and which functions to open and close an entrance a of a building, the long engine case 2 which is stored in the transom B, and has a rail 20 arranged along the upper side of the entrance a of the building, and a pair of hangers 3 which are exposed from the lower surface of the engine case 2 and placed on the rail 20 to hang the door body 1 so as to freely travel. A fixing portion 5 and a sliding fixing portion 6 which are mounted to the mullions A via mounting fittings 7, respectively, are mounted at both longitudinal ends of the engine case 2, and a restriction plate 64 for restricting a range enabling sliding along the longitudinal direction of the engine case 2 is arranged at the sliding fixing portion 6.
