Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder for cosmetics without loss of natural skin feeling and correcting a color failure under conditions applied with external force such as friction in production, coating or use. SOLUTION: The powder for cosmetics including a photonic crystal formed of a spherical particulate (P) comprises at least any one of a photonic crystal (PC1) formed of a structure filled with a resin between gaps of the spherical particulate (P) and a photonic crystal (PC2) formed of its reversed opal structure as an essential component. It is preferable that the volume average particle size of the spherical particulate (P) ranges from 0.1 to 0.5 μm, and at least any one of the photonic crystal (PC1) and the photonic crystal (PC2) is adhered to the surface a thin flake powder (F).
