INSULATION RESISTANCE MEASURING METHOD OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation resistance measuring method of an elevator capable of measuring insulation resistance without cutting off an electric power source. SOLUTION: This insulation resistance measuring method of the elevator is applied to the elevator not requiring a machine room in which hoisting machines 1-1, 2-1 and control panels 1-2, 2-2 are installed in elevator shafts 1, 2 and is devised to measure the insulation resistance of a common circuit of the elevator by measuring voltage drop of a detection resistor R1 by a voltmeter V by setting a platform terminal part 3 having; a platform earthing terminal Eo; a circuit earthing terminal T3 of a common electric power source circuit; the detection resistor R1 interposed between the platform earthing terminal Eo and the circuit earthing terminal T3 and; a switch B to open and close between the platform earthing terminal Eo and the circuit earthing terminal T3 at each of platforms 1-7, 2-7.
