SOLUTION: The metal member for sheathing the precision instrument has a printing layer 11 on a metal substrate 10. In the metal member for sheathing the precision instrument, the printing layer 11, the protective film 12 consisting of a non-fluorine transparent resin and the protective film 13 consisting of a fluorine resin overlie one another from the metal substrate 10 side.
