Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool for a building material capable of forming a cutting surface having little influence on film performance irrespective of period of service. SOLUTION: In the cutting tool A for the building material, a plurality of edge parts 2 are formed on the outer peripheral part of a disc shape cutting tool body 1. The edge part 2 is formed by either one of a sintered edge part 3 made of a diamond sintered body and an abrasive grain edge part 4 made of diamond abrasive grains. The sintered edge part 3 and the abrasive grain edge part 4 are juxtaposed in a circumferential direction of the cutting tool body 1.
