TRANSMISSION DEVICE, FRAME FOR MAINTENANCE PROCESSING METHOD AND TRANSMISSION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a correct round-trip delay time by a frame for maintenance to be used to maintain a network. SOLUTION: Header information 2 being a copy of the header of a user frame 1 during transmission processing is stored, in the case of detecting the reception of an OAM (Operation Administration Management) frame during transmitting the user frame 1, the user frame 1 is divided into a transmitted part and an untransmitted part to interrupt the transmission processing of subsequent data, and connection information 3 is also added to the transmitted part. When not the transmission processing of the subsequent data but the transmission processing of an OAM frame 4 is started and the transmission processing of the OAM frame 4 is finished, the transmission processing of the user frame 1 to the subsequent data is restarted, the header information 2 stored during transmitting the user frame 1 and the connection information 5 are added.
