Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for avoiding erroneous correction due to any operation mistake or the overlook of a constraint by a user in the case of executing an automatic gradation correcting function. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is includes a judgement means for, when it is clarified that a pattern for gradation correction has been printed on a sheet based on additional information acquired by an RFID tag reading means in the case of reading a sheet, determining the validity/invalidity of the execution of the automatic gradation correction function based on the additional information, and characterized to execute the automatic gradation correction function only when it is judged that the automatic gradation correction function is executable by the judgement means.
