DISK COPY SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase processing efficiency in disk copying. SOLUTION: A copy source computer 100 includes: a copy program 112 for creating a dummy file for analyzing an addresses of a free space of a hard disk 102; a filter driver 108 for detecting the addresses where the dummy file is created, writing them to a memory table 116, and determining the addresses of data recorded on the hard disk 102 according to the written addresses, and a transmission daemon 110 for transmitting the data recorded at the determined addresses and the determined addresses to a copy destination computer 200. Meanwhile the copy destination computer 200 includes a reception daemon 210 for receiving the data and addresses transmitted from the transmission daemon 110, and a filter driver 208 for writing the received data to the same addresses of a hard disk 202 as the received addresses.
