CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION AND BICYCLE WITH CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission easily changing a rotational speed ratio between an input side rotating plate and an output side rotating plate. SOLUTION: By rotation of an input side cam plate 31 rotated together with rotary drive of an input shaft 10, a press-contact force generating part 30 moves steel balls 33 on an inclined surface part 32b of the output side cam plate 32 to press the inclined surface part 32b, so that the input side rotating plate 51 of the continuously variable transmission part 50 attached to the output cam plate 32 is moved to be in contact with a power roller 53. The continuously variable transmission part 50 continuously changes the rotational speed ratio (r1/r2) between the input side rotating plate 51 and the output side rotating plate 52 according to a relation between a position where the input side rotating plate 51 is brought into contact with the power roller 53 and a position where the output side rotating plate 52 is brought into contact with the power roller 53, and transmits the rotary drive of the input shaft 10 to an output shaft 20.
