TRAVEL SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support device performing optimum control with respect to all kinds of acceleration/deceleration factors detected by a detection means. SOLUTION: Every time a travel support ECU12-C detects an acceleration/deceleration factor candidate, the travel support ECU12-C predicts a position on the time space of the acceleration/deceleration factor; evaluates a degree of interference with a prediction position on the time space of one' own vehicle; registers the interference prediction position, when the interference is present or when the interference degree is large, sets point target behavior, when arriving at a target point as a substantially according value in anticipation of a margin in factor prediction behavior in the interference prediction position; obtains an unsteady control start point, based on the point target behavior and a driving policy; and registers it. When own vehicle passes the unsteady control start point regarding a certain registration factor, a target value of acceleration/deceleration control is minutely obtained, based on the point target behavior regarding the registration factor and a mobile body speed.
