Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spherical particles with multi-layer structure which are selectively able to transmit or reflect light having a specific wave length within a wide range and to provide a simple and easy method for manufacturing. SOLUTION: The spherical particles with multi-layer structure have a structure in which the layer with two or more layers (Ln) concentrically laminated to the center of the core as the central layer (LO) to be the core, all the difference of refractive index of adjacent layers falls in 0.01-1.5 and at least one layer of the central layer (LO) and the layer (Ln) is a metal oxide layer(M). The method for manufacturing particles with multi-layer structure is characterized by comprising at least two selected from a group comprising (10) a manufacturing step utilizing a pulsed laser irradiation, (20) a manufacturing step utilizing a gaseous metallic compound, (30) a manufacturing step utilizing a sol-gel method or double micell layers, (40) a manufacturing step for utilizing a sol-gel method (40) and also containing and containing repeating at least two kinds of the steps or at least one of the steps or (50) a manufacturing step for utilizing opposite electric charge.
