Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing flaked diaryl carbonate by which molten diaryl carbonate is flaked. SOLUTION: Molten DPC is cooled and solidified on the surface of rotary drum 20a of flaker 20. The solidified DPC is scraped with scraper 21. The flaked DPC obtained is transferred to hopper 23 via transfer pipe 22 and packed into container (F/C) 24b already filled with inert gas 4NP by packing machine 24. Rotary drum 20a is cooled by refrigerant (CW) having a temperature of 0°C-30°C and cools and solidifies the molten DPC to a temperature below 60°C. The clearance between the tip of scraper 21 and the surface of rotary drum 20a is not greater than 0.5 mm.
