METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING HOT-ROLLED STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing hot-rolled steel sheet capable of cooling a steel sheet between stands having measuring equipments and improving quality and production efficiency of products by improving measurement precision. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing hot-rolled steels using a finishing mill 12 having at least three stands 21a to 21g, comprises a step of measuring a physical quantity of steel plate 1 by at least one measuring equipment 40 provided between stands, a step of controlling the finishing mill based on the obtained physical quantity, and a step of cooling the steel plate by cooling equipments 33a to 33e, which eject coolant water, provided between a plurality of stands including stands having the measuring equipment. In this case, when the measuring equipment measures the physical quantity, coolant water is not ejected and a condition for coolant water is controlled so as to increase level of cooling in the cooling equipment disposed between stands having no measuring equipment.
