Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating roller capable of coating the surface of protruded parts of a rugged pattern applied on a plate material for architecture uniformly without irregularity. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the coating roller A which is formed by winding an inner layer 2 on the outer circumference of a core material 1 and winding an outer layer 3 on the outer circumference of the inner layer 2. The inner layer 2 is formed of sponge having a hardness of 10 to 30°. The outer layer 3 is formed of rubber having a hardness of 30 to 60°.
