Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system allowing restoration of a journal in a logical storage device of a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) configuration without a write penalty. SOLUTION: This storage system has: a control part; a first storage device storing data; and a second storage device storing the journal of the data stored in the first storage device. The first storage device has the RAID configuration distributively recording parity data into a plurality of storage devices. When a control part receives an update instruction of the data, the control part produces the parity data after update based on the data after the update included in the update instruction, stores the data after the update and the parity data after the update into the first storage device, and records the journal including the data after the update and the parity data into the second storage device. When receiving a restoration instruction of the data stored in the first storage device, the control part sequentially reads the journal in recorded order, and writes the parity data after the update and the data after the update included in the read journal into the first storage device.
