Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent eavesdropping of information transmitted inside an image processing apparatus by sharing a key between an encryption side and a decryption side without using a complex configuration or an expensive means and without making it easy to decrypt the key. SOLUTION: When transfer of information such as image data is started (S40a, S40b), a transfer signal is input (step S41a, S41b) into a random number generator and a random number is output simultaneously on the encryption side and the decryption side. At this time, the random number generator is initialized. On the basis of the output random number, a key is generated (step S43a, S43b) and encrypted (S44a) by a well-known DES algorithm. When a cipher text is transferred (step S45a), it is received (step S45b) by the decryption side and decrypted (step S45b). Then, the process is terminated (step S46a, step S46b).
