PRESSURE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor, with its pressure-resistance value change curve gradually changing over a wide range, without increasing labor for production management. SOLUTION: This pressure sensor is structured so that a first electrode is formed on a first electrode sheet and a second electrode having a higher resistance value than that of the first electrode is formed on a second electrode sheet while the two electrode sheets are superposed on each other with a spacer having a hole part in its middle put therebetween so that the electrodes face each other leaving a prescribed gap therebetween. A split insulating layer is provided on a surface of the electrode on one electrode sheet, the split portion of the insulating layer causing a part of the above electrode to be radially exposed from the center position of the electrode toward its peripheral part.
