SOLENOID TYPE FUEL INJECTION VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach an cap by pressure-fitting it to the outer peripheral surface of a valve seat member without causing deformation therein, in a solenoid type fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: In the solenoid type fuel injection valve, an injector plate 10 having a fuel injection hole 11 communicating with a valve hole 7 is joined to the front end of the valve seat member 3, and a cylindrical cap 42 having an annular bottom 42a abutted on the injector plate 10 so as to surround the fuel injection hole 11 is pressure-fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the valve seat member 3. On the inner peripheral surface of the cap 42, a plurality of flat surfaces 50 pressure-contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the valve seat member 3 and a plurality of circular surfaces 51 positioned between the flat surfaces 50 and opposed to them without pressure-contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the valve seat member 3 are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction.
