IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND GUIDE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for adjusting even a width by interlocking, when adjusting the length by a guide unit in response to a size of stored paper. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a paper feeding cassette for storing a printing medium, and the guide unit 100 regulating a position of the printing medium in response to a size of the stored printing medium. The guide unit 100 has a length adjusting member 110 having a length adjusting rack gear part and regulating a position in the longitudinal direction of the printing medium, a width adjusting member 120 having a width adjusting rack gear part and regulating a position in the width direction of the printing medium, and a pinion member 130 interlocking with the length adjusting member 110 and the width adjusting member 120. The pinion member 130 has a first pinion part 135 joined via a gear to the length adjusting rack gear part, and a second pinion part 131 joined via a gear to the width adjusting rack gear part. The first pinion part 135 and the second pinion part 131 are arranged so that the pinion member 130 becomes a stairs shape. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
