DISSIMILAR METAL PLATE JOINING METHOD FOR VEHICLE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissimilar metal plate joining method for a vehicle body capable of compactly forming a joining part of dissimilar metal plates, and in the process of putting together one side member and the other side member, capable of sealing also the forefront of the other side member simultaneously. SOLUTION: The dissimilar metal plate joining method for vehicle body comprises a process of putting together the one side member 41 on the body 10 side formed from a steel plate and the other side member 23 formed from a light metal plate with a bonding agent 14 interposed, a pressing process to press the two members 41 and 23 to each other, and a joining process to join together the two members 41 and 23 by welding or riveting, whereby joining together of the two metal plates is conducted in such a manner that the intersection P1 of the extension lines of the first contacting angle θ1 and second contacting angle θ2 is formed at the bonding agent 14, where θ1 represents the angle formed between the adhering surface 44 of the one side member 41 and a slope 31 on the first side while a second contacting angle θ2 represents the angle formed between the adhering surface 25 of the second member 23 and a slope 32 on the other side.
