PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form precise recording images by correcting recording position displacement between discharge nozzle rows in a unit less than one pixel even in a constitution in which the recording position correction less one pixel can not be carried out only by electric recording head drive timing. SOLUTION: The image recording positions on mediums to be recorded can be adjusted in one pixel unit by the drive timing or data displacement of a recording means, the recording position registering by less than one pixel is carried out by changing the distance between a head and the medium to be recorded using heads with different discharge angles between the discharge nozzle rows.
