DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SPLITTING LONG URETHANE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long urethane splitting device which surely separating, sucking, and conveying a long urethane material when a plurality of long urethane products are cut off from the long urethane material. SOLUTION: This long urethane splitting device separates the long urethane material at cutoff positions when blades B of a predetermined length are manufactured by laterally cutting off the long urethane material A. The long urethane splitting device comprises: a loading base 1 for placing, thereon, the long urethane material A in which cuts are formed at the cutoff positions by a cutter; a suction pad 51 for sucking each of the blades B of the long urethane material A placed on the loading base 1; a bar-like member 36 for projecting the cuts or their vicinities in the vertical direction to the surface of the material in such a state that the long urethane material A is pressed by the suction pad 51; and a sucking/conveying device 50 for conveying the projected blades B by a tray 61 in such a state that the blades B are sucked by the suction pad 51.
