PACKET TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION METHOD, APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attain, a packet transmission/reception method, its apparatus, its system, and its program, without being affected by the influence of a physical address of a node on an existing network when fixing the virtual address of a node on a virtual network, thereby eliminating the necessity of the introduction for new equipment. SOLUTION: A CUG participation node determines whether a received packet is the packet to a multi-cast address, to which the self node belongs, and abandons it (data erasure) when the packet is not to the multi-cast address to which the self node belongs. Besides, the capsulization of the received packet is released and the packet from an origination source is taken out from a payload part (a transmission data part). Then, a virtual IP address being the destination is read so as to determine whether the packet is to the self node. When the packet is not to the self node, the packet is abandoned.
