MERCHANDISE SETTLEMENT SYSTEM, MERCHANDISE SETTLEMENT METHOD, AND MERCHANDISE SETTLEMENT PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of merchandise settlement, and to prevent information of merchandise purchased by a customer from being viewed from other person. SOLUTION: A price of the merchandise is input in an input operation part 101. A display control part 104 displays all the time a payment detail of the customer lined next to the customer paying money on a customer display part 107. A shop display part 105 is provided in a position visible only by a shop clerk, and displays instantaneously the payment detail of the customer who is registering the merchandise, by control of the display control part 104. A payment waiting determination part 106 determines whether a customer is waiting for payment, referring to a payment waiting data storage part 201 of a payment register 200. The customer display part 107 is provided in a position visible by the customer registering merchandise or the preceding customer waiting for payment, and displays continuously the payment detail displayed since the merchandise is registered by the customer under waiting for payment, by control of the display control part 104, when there is a customer waiting for payment.
