PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of protecting a projection optical device without reducing the degree of freedom in design of an outside housing. SOLUTION: A luminous flux passing aperture part 211 for making luminous flux enlarged and projected from the projection optical device pass, and an exposing aperture part 212 for exposing at least a part of an image adjustment part constituting the projection optical device to the outside are formed on the outside housing 2 of the projector 1. The projector 1 includes a shutter 5 capable of shutting both the luminous flux passing aperture part 211 and the exposing aperture part 212. The shutter 5 is provided to be movably between a shutting position where it shuts the luminous flux passing aperture part 211 and the exposing aperture part 212, and an opening position where it opens the luminous flux passing aperture part 211 and the exposing aperture part 212 on the outside housing 2.
