Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a crack made by imitating a stress corrosion crack (SCC) to a desired part of a test body having unequal thickness and a complicated shape. SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing the test body 10 with the crack made by imitating the stress corrosion crack given to a weld part 13 thereof, the test body 10 is altered into a test body 15 fitted with a reinforcing member by mounting the test body 10 with the reinforcing member 14 so as to put one end thereof on the weld part 13. The test body 15 is bent to cause tensile stress to arise in the weld part 13. Stress concentration is caused to arise in the weld part 13 by means of one end of the reinforcing member 14 put on the weld part 13. The weld part 13 is given cracks by the stress concentration.
