CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR HIGHWAY BRIDGE JOINT PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make boundary between an asphalt pavement 7 and a concrete pavement corrugated in a highway bridge joint part. SOLUTION: This construction method for a highway bridge joint pavement includes: a step of making a plurality of first slits extending in the longitudinal direction of the joint at spaces in the longitudinal direction of the joint; a step of making second slits, which are extended from both ends of the respective slits to both sides in the longitudinal direction of the joint toward an expansion joint 4 diagonally to the bridge shaft; and a step of making third slits extending in the longitudinal direction of the joint from the adjacent first slits to connect the second slits to each other, thereby forming a corrugated slit in the asphalt pavement 7, wherein the asphalt pavement portion located on the expansion joint side from the corrugated slit is removed, and concrete is placed in the portion from which the pavement is removed to form the concrete pavement 6. Thus, a construction joint 12 between the asphalt pavement 7 and the concrete pavement 6 is formed corrugated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
