| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft feeder which is used in a fluid jet loom, is mainly composed of a pair of rollers disposed on the upstream side of a weft route from a main nozzle and are rotated at a peripheral velocity of ≥900 m/min, and maintains a stable operation state over a long period. SOLUTION: In this weft feeder used in the fluid jet loom, at least one of a pair of the rollers is formed of a metal roller wheel and a coating member formed from a flexible material and joined to the outer peripheral surface of the roller wheel, and the metal roller wheel is formed from a mechanical part material having a higher heat conductivity than that of iron.
