Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both securement of favorable chip disposal performance and lowering of chip flow-out resistance by lowering the chip flow-out resistance without impairing the chip disposal performance in a throw-away tip for a drill. SOLUTION: In the throw-away tip 1 for the drill with a chip breaker 7 for chip disposal provided along a cutting edge 6 on an upper face 2, one or more of cutout parts 8 are provided midway in a longitudinal direction of the chip breaker 7. The cutout part 8 is formed so as to enter a central side by 0.2 mm or more from a rising end 7b of the chip breaker 7, or an inner end of the cutout part is cut through to a central hole 5 of the tip.
