Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently charge a battery for traveling of a hybrid vehicle with an external charging function. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes steps of: (S2000) computing an SOC of the battery for traveling, when charging of the battery for traveling using external power supply is started (YES in S1000); (S3000) computing a rate of increase of the SOC; (S5000) displaying a warning to a user, when the rate of increase of the SOC is a threshold (1) or less through use of auxiliary equipment of the vehicle using the battery for traveling as power supply (NO in S4000); and (S9000) turning off the auxiliary equipment of the vehicle using the battery for traveling as the power supply, when the rate of increase of the SOC is a threshold (2) or less after lapse of predetermined time from display of the warning (NO in S8000).
